Summer Pre-Med Program

APEX is an intense preparation program for med school applicants. It is also an opportunity for a trip to the gross anatomy lab at the USC School of Medicine, shadowing in the hospitals, and lots of tips about how to make your application accentuate your experiences and highlighting your strengths. We will have two current medical students with us the entire time to answer your questions and provide insight about med school. The
application prep portion includes a comprehensive AMCAS overview, personal statement workshops, interview skills workshops, two simulated, true to life med school interviews for each participant, and discussions about current health care issues. This opportunity will provide shadowing opportunities and help highly-motivated students learn how to showcase their abilities, skills, and motivation throughout the application process to allopathic and osteopathic med school and dental school.
Must have 60 hours of earned college credit to attend.

Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
