Mount Holyoke Postbac Premed Program - career changer

Mount Holyoke College's Postbaccalaureate Pre-Medical Program invites you to discover how we can help achieve your goals for careers in health professions. Our career changer program is geared toward students who have not had any health professions science prerequisites, and have a 3.5 GPA. Though best known as a pioneering women's college, Mount Holyoke's Postbaccalaureate Pre-Medical Program admits both men and women. Graduates of our program have an outstanding record of admission to top health professions schools.

Renowned for its excellence in the sciences, Mount Holyoke offers the ideal setting for pre-medical preparation. Whether students aspire to pursue graduate work in medicine, veterinary medicine, or dentistry, the Office of Pre-Health Programs provides each with a customized curriculum and assists them with obtaining internships at local practices and area hospitals.

For ten years Postbac students have benefited from Mount Holyoke's academic rigor, its top-rated classroom experience, and the opportunity to work closely with faculty who are both passionate about teaching and accomplished researchers. They have full access to our $36 million Science Center featuring state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and equipment, including a scanning electron microscope, several nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometers, molecular biology equipment, and a linear accelerator uncommon even in much larger institutions. And it all happens on a campus that the Princeton Review consistently names as one of the most beautiful in the United States.

Comprehensive tuition for students entering the Program during Summer or Fall of 2017 is $39,000. This is a one-time program fee, not a per-academic year fee, and covers ten courses. A non-refundable Enrollment Deposit Fee of $2,000 is due upon enrollment and is credited toward tuition.
