LECOM's Master of Medical Science Program
LECOM, the largest and one of the most affordable medical schools in the United States, invites your students to apply to our Master of Medical Science (MMS) program. Successful completion of the MMS program greatly increases their opportunity to get accepted into LECOM Bradenton’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM), School of Dental Medicine (SDM) or School of Pharmacy (SOP).
The MMS program has three tracks: medicine, dental medicine, and pharmacy.
The following are data from the graduates from MMS Class of 2016-17 in these three tracks:
* 52 Graduates in the medicine track * 15 Graduates in the dental medicine track
* 45 Accepted into LECOM Bradenton COM * 11 Have been accepted into LECOM SDM
* 86 % Acceptance Rate
Additionally, two students were accepted into LECOM’s School of Pharmacy.
The MMS program is a one-year, non-thesis, course of study with a mission to academically, scientifically, and professionally prepare students for acceptance into LECOM’s College of Medicine. The program encompasses 38 weeks of study in three sessions as follows:
· Summer Session – 8 weeks of study
· Fall Session – 15 weeks of study
· Spring Session – 15 weeks of study
