Project Hoeseshoe Farm

https://www.projecthsf.org/ Project Horseshoe Farm is a 501(c)3  community non-profit organization based in Greensboro, Alabama, with a more recent satellite extension in Marion, Alabama.  Since our founding in 2007, Horseshoe Farm has been dedicated to strengthening communities, improving the quality of life of our vulnerable neighbors, and preparing citizen service leaders for tomorrow's communities. By mobilizing some of the most promising future service leaders in the nation and teaching them to work effectively with the strengths of communities, Horseshoe Farm is forging a new path in community health.  We have developed an integrated network of housing, transportation, support, health, wellness, social, and activities programs for vulnerable adults.  In addition, Horseshoe Farm has worked with local schools to expand opportunities for children including partnering with Greensboro Schools to develop a 21st Century award-winning K-12 tutoring, mentoring, and enrichment

Zucker Pipeline Program (ZPP) , here at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell in New York . The mission of the ZPP is to enhance the matriculation of students underrepresented in medicine and economically disadvantaged students to the Zucker School of Medicine. The three-year, summer intensive, academic enrichment program is designed to provide high achieving college students who are interested in a career in medicine an opportunity for direct matriculation to the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Summer Program In Neuroscience at Boston University

SPIN '19 is an on-site, 8-week intensive program in neuroscience offered by the Departments of Neurosurgery, and Anatomy & Neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine. SPIN offers classroom instruction in neuroanatomy, hands-on research experience in a neuroscience lab, and clinical exposure in both the neurosurgery clinic and operating room. AVM is an exciting and intensive program where participants can explore the wide variety of careers available within veterinary medicine and discover first-hand what it is like to attend veterinary school. For students who are trying to determine whether veterinary medicine is the right career path, AVM is a great way to gain a deeper understanding of the profession. I am the Assistant Director of Medical Camping at Bradford Woods in Martinsville, Indiana. Bradford Woods is Indiana University's Outdoor Center and is supported by the Riley Children’s Foundation and Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Bradford Woods operates 10 weeks of Recreation Therapy summer camps for people with cancer, sickle cell anemia, cerebral palsy, craniofacial anomalies, severe burn survivors, autism, various physical disabilities, rare genetic disorders, and Down syndrome. We hire a staff of 80+ individuals and are currently recruiting for the summer of 2019.
