Post-Bac in Hawaii

At HPU (Hawaii Pacific University) we have a Post-Bac program that has been designed for "Pre-Health" students and hence is applicable for pharmacy, PT and PA as well as Medicine / Dentistry.   The program is small, which allows the student to get more directed learning and offers quite a bit of flexibility.  Of course, one of the main challenges for PA-hopefuls seems to be the very high number of medical-related hours.  The program can't offer these directly, but we do coordinate opportunities for students to volunteer and included in the curriculum is a one credit "practicum" which involves volunteer experiences.
