Northern Arizona University offers an affordable Master of Science in Athletic Training program that is the only professional athletic training program at a state institution in  Arizona. The program emphasizes professional clinical preparation, requires 2 years to complete, and is offered on both the Flagstaff Mountain and Phoenix Biomedical campuses. Truman State University is excited to announce the new Master of Athletic Training (MAT) program with classes beginning in July 2018! The MAT is a two-year, 62 credit professional program that prepares students for national certification in athletic training. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Our graduate curriculum is designed for optimal hands-on learning and comprehensive clinical experience that is integrated into the curriculum. Students work with a variety of patient populations. Students work with a variety of other health care professionals in many interprofessional opportunities throughout the program.
