The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine will again host the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program . The SURF program provides a wide variety of summer research opportunities for undergraduate students interested in careers in medicine or biomedical research. Participants in this program work in an active research lab under the guidance of a biomedical science faculty member. The goal is to expose students to  the challenges, excitement and satisfaction of research. The Michigan FPHLP 2020 Application is open until January 31, 2020 . Michigan FPHLP is a 10-week summer residential program for underrepresented college students and recent graduates who are looking for a meaningful introduction to public health. It is a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE) to address the shortage of diversity in the public health workforce. 2018 CRISSP internship

Applications for the 2018 CRISSP internship are now being accepted! Please pass this along to anyone you know that might be a good candidate for the program. Note that freshman are no longer eligible to apply. Twenty-five positions are available. All participants will have multiple opportunities for clinical shadowing and broad exposure to biomedical research careers. Students receive a $4,000 stipend and free housing in the University of Pennsylvania dorms. The application deadline is January 31, 2018 .
