My name is Jordan Yeager, Chief Scribe for ScribeAmerica; a company that hires and trains “Scribes” for Emergency Medicine Physicians. This email is to provide information about a unique employment opportunity for students interested in careers in medicine. Our company is currently looking to recruit students to work as Scribes in the Emergency Department at Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital and Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital (both 30-40 minutes from the Bucknell campus). PMT Scribe Academy is a summer program for pre-med students

PMT Scribe Academy is a summer program for pre-med students to shadow doctors in a live hospital setting. It helps them get the experience they need in a hospital — and it has even helped a few students switch out of medicine and into something they are better able to handle. We provide the training and assist with getting them into a medical center. We are located in Lower Moreland, just outside of Northeast Philly.
