    The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Pre-Medical Studies will put you on the path for admission into medical schools and other health professions graduate programs.

    Wright State’s Pre-Health Program offers highly motivated, mature, and service-oriented individuals like you the opportunity to study the sciences, preparing you to be a competitive applicant.

    Special program features include:
  • Personalized, one-on-one advising and support
  • Customized program of study to meet requirements of specific health professional schools.
  • Volunteer and research opportunities
  • Comprehensive letter of recommendation written by the Post-Baccalaureate coordinator for those who complete the program.
  • Certificate of Completion
  • Full-time coursework is recommended; part-time options are available.

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Pre-Medical Studies will help prepare you for medical school and other health professions graduate  programs that can lead to careers as a:

Advanced Studies

If you have completed the basic  sciences but need to complete additional specialized science  courses to strengthen your science GPA and knowledge of the biomedical sciences, the advanced studies option is for you.  Learn More.

Consider  the core studies option if you are a career changer who has a bachelor’s degree with little or no previous coursework in the sciences but an excellent academic record and a clear understanding of the chosen healthcare profession. Learn More.

Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
