The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is currently accepting applications for August 2017 entry into the MS-Biomedical Sciences (MS-BioMedSci) program. The MS-BioMedSci program is a one year, 30 credit hour, non-thesis Master's program designed to enhance the academic credentials of students seeking admission to professional or graduate school. The MS-Biomedical Sciences program prepares students for medical and dental school. The curriculum includes courses in biochemistry, physiology, and microbiology taught to both dental and graduate students, as well as graduate school courses in histology, human anatomy and biostatistics, and a seminar course focused on translational research.
