Veterinary Medical Career Fair and Information Sessions

AAVMC is pleased to announce that its annual Veterinary Medical Career Fair and Information Sessions event will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC!

This free event is for anyone with an interest in the veterinary medical profession. The AAVMC’s recruiting event is a unique opportunity for prospective veterinary students to meet with admissions representatives from the veterinary medical colleges from the US and abroad. Information sessions are held to provide great information about various careers in veterinary medicine as well as helpful information on applying to veterinary school. Save the date for this unique opportunity!

Students may register for the event though our website at: http://tinyurl.com/AAVMCCareerFair2016. Parents need not register. Please note that we encourage students to register themselves as the registration includes a short survey about the profile of students who may be interested in veterinary medicine. This data helps us to plan future educational and recruiting programming.

Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
