as to put out a call for volunteer TAs and
assistants for the first half of the year. For our Colorado-based
classes (italicized below) we offer
three full tuition scholarships. All classes, as well as the scholarships, are open to college
students and recent grads from any region, including internationally.

Volunteer TA Program Assistants
Teaching Assistant Positions for all US-based classes (see above for schedule)
Marketing Assistants (2-3 positions)
Curriculum Assistant
For any of
these volunteer positions please send a resume and a letter of interest
indicating what you hope to gain from the experience and what skills and
strengths
you bring to the course or to the Wilderness Medicine Section.
Applications can be sent to
todd.miner@ucdenver.edu.
There is a general expectation that for TA positions you have
previously successfully completed the course. Marketing and Curriculum
positions require a once a week conference call but
can be conducted from one’s home or campus (being in Colorado not necessary).
Scholarships
As mentioned,
we offer three (3) full scholarships for our March, May-June, and
August Colorado-based pre-med classes. To apply for one of the
need-based scholarships
please see
http://www.coloradowm.org/ 2016-Scholarship-Application- UG.pdf. For questions about the schedule, classes, volunteer positions, or scholarships please contact Dr. Todd Miner at

Thank you!
