Summer Spanish and Medicine in Peru!
Hola. Just a quick update about our Spanish & Medicine summer programs in Cusco, Peru.
Many spots are taken and the application deadline tends to sneak up quickly.
This program is for the prehealth student who:
+ will have completed at least one full year of college studies prior to the program.
+ can demonstrate (via references) a sufficient level of maturity to live abroad for six weeks.
+ anticipates using Spanish as part of his or her career.
+ is able to adapt to new situations, particularly if not of comfortable surroundings.
+ is open-minded and can integrate with people of different backgrounds.
+ has a curiosity for new cultural experiences.
+ has a six-week break during the summer. (There are two options: early summer or late summer.)
Your Spanish background: We have levels from "No Prior Spanish" thru "Nearly Fluent."
Medical component: This is a clinical shadowing (not "hands on") experience.
