Post-baccalaureate Pre-medical Program at the University of Rochester

If you have advisees who have recently decided on a career in medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine, I hope that you'll tell them about our small and selective Post-baccalaureate Pre-medical Program at the University of Rochester. Students receive an exceptional education in science in a supportive environment with dedicated advising. We work closely with each student to develop a targeted, customized plan to meet his or her goals. 
 
Our beautiful campus is located next to the University of Rochester Medical Center. Because of this proximity, students have secured research positions in labs working on groundbreaking research. Many of our students choose to find clinical positions at the hospitals and hospices in the Rochester area. Students who complete our program have great success with their applications to health professions schools; we have a 90% rate of admittance. Our students have moved on to a wide range of schools, from Ivy League medical schools to excellent state universities.

    Many parents will refuse to be cosigners, as it is a lot of money and responsibility put on them as well. Other options for apartment approval are mentioned above.

Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
