Highlights of the programs
  • ATSU-KCOM is the founding school of osteopathic medicine. Students can learn about its rich history by visiting the Museum of Osteopathic Medicine, located on campus.
  • ATSU-KCOM uses the aligned discipline curriculum model which focuses on aligning subject matter among the basic sciences and clinical sciences, with a focus on Osteopathic Manipulative Theory, full cadaver dissection, and human  patient simulation.
  • ATSU-MOSDOH aims to increase access to oral healthcare for Missouri's most vulnerable populations by addressing the state's critical shortage of dentists.
  • Only the second dental school in the state, its goal is to graduate dentists who have an in-depth understanding of and a desire to serve populations in need by focusing clinical simulation in the classroom and exposure to public health.
ATSU's Student Osteopathic Medical Association and American Student Dental Association encourages pre-med and pre-dental students to attend ATSU's DO/DMD for a Day.  Undergraduate students who are interested in learning about our university are encouraged to attend.
