Cornell University, Weill Cornell M.S. in Healthcare Policy and Research's 2019 Application is Now Live!

As part of Cornell University’s Medical College located in New York City, Weill Cornell Medicine’s Department of Healthcare Policy and Research (HPR) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for its Master of Science (M.S.) program and Certificate Programs for fall 2019 admission.

The M.S. program can be completed full-time in one year* and has three academic tracks in

1) 
Biostatistics and Data Science (Priority Application Deadline February 1st) provides top-class training in biostatistics, as well as the analytic techniques used in data science to prepare students for the data-driven challenges of today's world.

2) 
Health Informatics (Priority Application Deadline February 1st) is the application of information science and information technology in the service of better health and better healthcare. We study, develop, and improve innovative information technologies in healthcare. To apply these information technologies effectively, we also study human and organizational behaviors

3) 
Health Policy and Economics (Priority Application Deadline February 1st) trains students to become leading policy analysts and researchers working to identify the most effective ways to organize, manage, finance, and deliver high quality healthcare.

Also, 
HPR Certificate Programs are oriented towards working professionals who are seeking cross-training for their current position or to make a career transition. We have programs in 1) Health Analytics, 2) Comparative Effectiveness and Outcomes Research, 3) Health Informatics, and 4) Health Policy and Economics.
