Do you have students who want to go to medical school but feel they need more knowledge and experience before applying? Tufts University School of Medicine's Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MBS) is specifically designed to help students strengthen their academic credentials and provide preparation for medical school, resulting in a very high acceptance rate and outstanding performance as MD students.
The Tufts MBS Advantage
  • A curriculum that mirrors the first year of medical school
  • Taught by our award-winning faculty-the same faculty who teach our MD students
  • Early clinical experience
  • Small class sizes and individualized instruction
  • Faculty advisors who also serve as personal pre-medical advisors
  • Dual degrees available in public health (MPH) or business administration (MBA)
If your students are still considering their options for the coming academic year, we want you to know that there are still seats available in our MBS Program and we are accepting applications until July 1, 2019. We encourage you to review our FAQs, application process, and the MBS program overview. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Admissions Office at med-phpd@tufts.edu.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

John Castellot, PhD
Faculty Director, MS in Biomedical Sciences Program
