Northern Arizona University offers an affordable Master of Science in Athletic Training program that is the only professional athletic training program at a state institution in Arizona. The program emphasizes professional clinical preparation, requires 2 years to complete, and is offered on both the Flagstaff Mountain and Phoenix Biomedical campuses. The second year is all online with clinical placements offered throughout the United States for the full year. Applicants who reside in the following states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, are eligible for Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) tuition reduction funding. Please feel free to share our flyer with any interested undergraduate students and/or athletes. Deadline to apply is January 5, annually, to begin the program in the first week of August.
