The nationally accredited Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) immerses students in topics that are critical to the optimal functioning of health systems, including strategic planning, program evaluation, health policy, finance, and biostatistics. To round out their career preparation, students complete internships with high-level healthcare administrators. Healthcare administrators can be found in clinics, hospitals, and long-term care facilities, as well as in health insurance and pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, rehabilitation units, and consulting firms.

A new generation of applied healthcare professionals is needed - professionals with skills in software and hardware development, public health and healthcare delivery, human factors and design. The MS in Health Technology program at Illinois is an interdisciplinary program developed by the College of Applied Health Sciences working in collaboration with the Grainger College of Engineering. This one of a kind program provides you with an opportunity to build skills in a project-based educational program that spans engineering, public health, human factors and design.

First class entering in Fall 2020. Applications open in January, 2020.
