Pre-Med and Health Professional Summer Courses at USciences

University of the Sciences is offering summer courses with pre-medical and pre-professional students in mind. Prerequisite and recommended coursework for medical, dental, veterinary, physical therapy, occupational theapy, physician assistant, and pharmacy school are available, including those that are hard to find at other schools. Students can also get the preparation they need for MCAT!

Here is a partial list of courses offered:
  • Anatomy and Physiology with laboratory (full year)
  • Physics with laboratory (full year)
  • Organic Chemistry with laboratory (full year)
  • Microbiology with laboratory (one semester)
  • Biochemistry (one semester)
  • Immunology (one semester)
  • Biostatistics (one semester)
  • Molecular Biology and Genetics (one semester)
  • Abnormal Psychology (online, one semester)

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
