The application deadline for the 2017-18 VCOM Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) is Monday April 17

The program is designed primarily for students with GPAs that are not currently competitive for admission to medical school.  With a challenging curriculum, the GCP allows students to prove that they can be successful in a rigorous medical school academic program.  Students who meet the benchmarks of the VCOM GCP program in December will be offered a seat (not just an interview) to matriculate at one of the VCOM campuses in August 2018.  There are also other opportunities to meet the benchmarks in March and May for a guaranteed seat.

For the last five years, over 65% of students who completed the program have been accepted to a U.S. medical school, and those that have matriculated to VCOM have been quite successful academically.  Additional information about the benchmarks, program prerequisites, how to apply, program outcomes, etc. can be found at http://www.vcom.edu/premedical_admissions

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our  GradCertificateAdmissions@vcom.vt.edu or at 540-231-5090

We look very forward to hearing from you and your students!

Best Wishes,
Shannon
