Participate in ASDA DAT Week, April 17-21
The American Student Dental Association (ASDA) invites you to join predental students nationwide in celebrating DAT Week this April.

During the week, national ASDA will host three webinars:

Vital Information and Tips for Taking the DAT (2017)
April 17, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. CDT
Free for ASDA members and non-members - Register now
Description: The Dental Admission Test (DAT) is an integral part of applying to dental school and can be a source of tremendous stress for predental students. This session is intended to provide valuable information so that students can feel as comfortable and prepared as possible before they sit for the test. The webinar covers general DAT information, tips for studying, common problems encountered by test takers, and the most frequently asked questions about the DAT.
Presenter:  Nicholas B. Hussong, BA, manager, test administration, American Dental Association

Study Methods for the Natural Sciences (DAT)
April 19, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. CDT
Free for ASDA members and non-members
Register now
Description: As dental students know, you can't fake your way through the Natural Sciences section of the DAT: either you have the knowledge on test day, or you don't. This session will go over methods of not only learning that information, but retaining it as well. You'll learn how to harness technology to study in the most effective and efficient ways, and will have the opportunity to ask high-scoring dental students for their advice.

Dissecting the DAT
April 20, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. CDT
Free for
ASDA members and advisors/faculty*; $10 for non-member predentals
Register now
Description: Don't let the DAT get you down! With a few simple strategies, several sections of the DAT can easily be broken down. This webinar will specifically look at two sections that are less familiar: the PAT and reading comprehension. Join our panelists as they dissect practice questions using common and lesser-known strategies. Panelists will also share general test taking tips so that you'll be prepared to dominate the DAT.
*Advisors and faculty should contact Brian Jones to register.
