New York City for Summer Session 2019

Practicing Medicine: Health Care Culture and Careers
Experience the day-to-day life of a health care professional in Practicing Medicine: Health Care Culture and Careers, an eight-week summer program in New York City offered from June 3 to July 26, 2019.

Featuring clinical rotations, seminars with faculty from Weill Cornell Medicine, and a three-credit course taught by program director Dr. Sam Beck, Practicing Medicine will immerse you in medical culture and practice as you shadow health care professionals in hospitals and clinics. Previous rounds have included anesthesiology, burn units, cardiology, dentistry, emergency medicine, surgery, labor and delivery, oncology, pediatrics, transplant medicine, and more.

You'll also meet community leaders to learn about the challenges that affect the availability and quality of health care in some urban neighborhoods.

Enrollment is limited and admission is on a rolling basis, so apply now! sce.cornell.edu/medicine
