Pre-Health and Medicine programs at the University of Vermont

Uniquely designed to help students from varying educational backgrounds meet the rigorous academic demands of medical or other health professional schools, UVM's programs range from the 4-week Summer Medical School Prep Program to our more intensive 12-24 month programs. 
Which Program is Right for Your Student?
 
Start Date: June 8-July 12, 2018 (4 weeks)
Your student is looking for an intensive summer program to help assess, focus, and refine his or her pre-med knowledge and experience, build confidence for the MCAT, and prepare for success as a medical school applicant and student. A limited number of scholarships are available.
 
Start Date: Summer 2018 (12 months)
Your student's goal is to earn a graduate degree that helps him or her become a stronger applicant to medical or other health professional schools through our College of Medicine's core biomedical sciences curriculum.
 
Start Date: January 16, 2018 (12-24 months)
Your student has discovered a passion to attend medical school, and is seeking a customized curriculum in the sciences, access to research opportunities, patient care, and a close-knit, supportive learning environment.
