Loyola University Chicago

The Master of Arts in Medical Sciences (MAMS) program is a 9 month program that prepares students for matriculation to medical school. The program was founded in 2004 and is one of the original programs of this nature within the United States.

MAMS is well-known for:
 Rigorous & quality graduate curricula
 Long-term advising commitment to our students
 Collaborative & supportive environment
 Access to Chicago-area hospitals & Clinics
 Opportunities to work with underserved populations

Students who are a good fit for our program have met all medical school pre-requisites, but need to strengthen their academic record before applying to medical school. We especially encourage individuals from underrepresented groups to apply.

All applications will receive a holistic review.
