The Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences & Biotechnology at Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) offers BS, BS/MS and MS programs for science-focused students who want to impact healthcare in three areas:
  • Biotechnology/molecular sciences
  • Cytotechnology/cell sciences
  • Medical Laboratory Science
Biotechnology master's degree student Jason Smith says, "The biotechnology program offers limitless academic and professional possibilities and can be used as a matriculation tool toward a PhD, medical or Physician Assistant school, or many other related health disciplines."

Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
