MA in Intercultural Services in Healthcare - WFU

The Wake Forest Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is now accepting applications for the MA in Intercultural Services in Healthcare (ISH) for Fall 2018. The ISH Track is of particular interest for pre-health students looking to take time off before medical, dental, pharmacy, or PA school. It is a two semester course of studies that offers a unique set of skills to complement future medical careers or serve as training for an alternative career path in the healthcare.

The first such specialization of its kind in the U.S., this track responds to the growing need for culturally competent administrators and comprehensive diversity strategies in healthcare. It prepares intercultural specialists to enter managerial positions in culture-sensitive healthcare delivery areas. Even though it is part of the Interpreting and Translation Studies Program, foreign language competency, while desirable, is not required for the ISH Track.

We would be grateful if you shared the attached PDF of our program brochure with your faculty members and your advanced/graduating students.
