West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine will be hosting an open house on Saturday, November 17, 2018 starting at 9:00am.   Our open house will feature presentations on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, our Curriculum and Admissions. Students will also tour our Anatomy Lab, Clinical Evaluation Center, and other student life areas. We will also be providing a light breakfast and lunch for all guests. Summer in Biomedical Sciences (SIBS) Undergraduate Research Program   2019, and   the   P rep ara tion for   G raduate and   M edical Education (PARAdiGM)   2019 .  Both of these programs introduce outstanding undergraduates to the exciting career options of being a scientific investigator while also being a practicing physician. Eligible students may apply to both programs.  Intern at Camp ENERGY!  Aug 4-10, 2018 (campers arrive on the 5 th ). 

 Join our mission to improve the health and wellness of our community. This internship is an opportunity for motivated undergraduate and graduate students to augment their education and career preparation in a variety of fields, including nutrition/dietetics, athletics/physical education, pediatrics and adolescent weight management. For example, students interested in nutrition can help campers personalize nutrition plans at camp and at home and help lead nutrition education sessions, mentored by a registered dietitian. A kinesiology major may help campers modify physical activities to their ability and set exercise goals, mentored by a collegiate swim coach. Students interested in behavioral health can learn how risk factors impact health and weight in adolescents while they work with campers individually under the mentorship of a pediatric psychologist.  Durin...
