Pre-Med Wilderness First Responder Courses
 
Join us for our Colorado Pre-Med summer courses from May 21- June 1, 2018 or August 6-17, 2018! Spend two weeks getting a hands on look into the fields of emergency and wilderness medicine. Experience EMS ride alongs, ED shadowing, backpacking, kayaking, and rock climbing. You will have the chance to earn your Wilderness First Responder and CPR certificate. 3 hours of academic credit is now available for this course.

Pre-Med WFR Course New York
 
The University of Colorado will be hosting a pre-med wilderness first responder course in Queensbury, NY at the SUNY Adirondack Campus from June 3 - 12, 2018. Students will learn valuable skills in assessing and treating patients in a wilderness medical crisis. Students have the opportunity to earn CPR and Wilderness First Responder certifications. March CO Course Highlights 
 
Our March CO Pre-Med course just ended in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. Students were able to get outside of the classroom and practice hands on medical scenarios. Brandeis University's two-track Post-Baccalaureate and application fee waiver

Our program includes two tracks:    Career changer track:   A two-year course of study for students with no science background, this track starts in the fall semester and allows students to complete all necessary pre-requisites for medical school and other health professions. Finisher Track:  This track is a special 15-month program that offers students who have already completed general chemistry and biology a pathway to dive into organic chemistry.
